What We Wearing in the Living Room …Thanksgiving 18

Written by PrettyGirlPeeps

Hey you all! It’s that time of the year where we start to ask the infamous question…..What We Wearing in the Living Room or Do you have your outfits for the Living Room?

I’m not going to lie, I don’t have mines ready yet, but I still have a week and we all know this is kind of what I do lol. Any who I’m here to help you if you still need this weekend to do some last minute shopping so you can look super cute and fly after you get done making your contribution or cooking the meal for Thanksgiving this year. I also have some last minute styling appointments left….cough cough click here if interested.  ( Sidenote my next blog will have more pictures than this one I promise, my flat lay project for this post didn’t work out as planned lol…things happen)

So let’s start with Colors! Some colors that you will want to make your appearance with will be found in hues of Caramel, Reds, Yellows, Oranges, Corals, Greys, Black and Navy. There are so many cute color combinations that you can rock to make your look bold or subdued the choice is really up to you! My only suggestion is since you’ll be getting your grub and potentially drink on that you steer clear of white so you don’t risk spillage if you’re a klutz like I am sadly.

Next accessorizes and shoes! Go for the cute costume jewelry that you wouldn’t mind losing or replacing if necessary! Thanksgiving is prime time for playing cards, dancing with friends and family, and other fun games that may require movement and you would hate to misplace or destroy your pricier pieces.  Scarves are another easy add on that can instantly add warmth and glamour to your already styled outfits. And if you will be wearing trousers, pants,  or jeans please don’t forget the belt to finish the look off this will also help combat plumbers butt when you sit down to enjoy that second helping of banana pudding trust me on this one girl lol. Shoes tend to be easier because depending on whose house you’re at they may require that you take your shoes off which means your socks will put on more of a show than your actual shoes and this should be duly noted and respected. Some shoe options to look fly when you walk through the door are: Booties, Over the Knee Boots ( My favorites) , Flat riding boots, and cute loafers are always a go to. If you want to dress it up for fancier celebrations, you can reach for the cute mules that are all the rage right now to look cute but to make sure you don’t overdue it!
